Psychosocial recovery coach is a mental health support person. NDIS participants with mental health conditions may have access to within their care plan.
A psychosocial disability may accrue when a person with a mental health condition interacts with a social environment. This may trigger behaviors and debilitating thoughts presenting barriers within their environment to be able to complete everyday tasks.
Our psychosocial recovery coaches provide support to clients to live a full and meaningful life. We will assist you to take more control of your life, building skills to be able to reflect and manage the complex challenges of everyday living. You will be supported to build capacity, resilience, strengths and motivation to reach your goals at your full potential. Whilst feeling a sense of contribution and social connectedness.

Our mental health and peer support tailers a support plan with you for your individual needs. Everybody’s story is unique and important to us. It’s your choice it’s your recovery, our mental health and peer support encourages you to take steps towards your recovery. This may include but not limited to, social outings and community engagements. Activity classes or recreational day trips or overnight stays. We are flexible and encourage you to live your life to the fullest. Taking opportunities for increased social and economic participation whilst still focusing on your recovery.

We offer independent support to participants who feel they are not being heard. We ensure that you are heard, and your rights are respected. We will help you to understand your rights and find other services and information as required.

We will assist you to attend your appointment. Your support worker will stay with you and wait for your appointment to end assisting you home. We will also assist you with shopping and disability access if required. We can support you to understand your bills and advocate on your behalf.

Our personal care and disability staff can assist with showering, dressing, meal preparation, medication monitoring, household duties and rehabilitation.
Our respite care is for your live in carer to take a break.

We help you one on one or group settings to be resilient and find your capacity. We encourage you to face your fears by building resilience to barriers and taking control. The workshops are effective in building your self-esteem and self-confidence for everyday independence. Finding friendships with other participants and shearing your experiences. Our one-on-one sessions are also helpful for new participants to gain confidence and can be more comfortable.
